The story

Luxury apartments CHALIGNE & EMILIUS

The building, originally constructed in the early 1900s, has undergone several transformations over time. In 1964, a major expansion project converted the structure into a lively community center, including a hotel, a restaurant and a dance hall, becoming a point of reference for the local community. The hospitality and entertainment business continued successfully until the 1980s, when interest in these facilities began to decline.

In the 1990s, the building underwent another transformation: the interior spaces, once dedicated to dining and entertainment, were adapted to accommodate residential accommodation. However, it was not until 2021 that the building saw the most significant renovation in its history.

This intervention, designed to meet the most modern standards of energy efficiency and safety, involved a global renovation of the building. Energy efficiency and anti-seismic adaptation works were carried out, which are essential to improve safety and living comfort. Furthermore, thanks to the installation of an elevator, architectural barriers were removed, making the building accessible to all.

The project also included targeted expansions, which led to the creation of two modern-concept apartments, characterized by a contemporary and functional design. The use of high-performance and natural insulating materials, together with the installation of an underfloor heating system and heat pumps for heating and domestic hot water, allowed the building to make a leap of several energy classes. The photovoltaic panel system installed on the roofs provides renewable energy, ensuring a high level of comfort with reduced energy consumption.

Thanks to these interventions, the building has reached the highest energy class, becoming a model of sustainability and innovation, completely electric and capable of offering a high standard of living, with minimal environmental impact.
